You’re doing the hard work mama.

And you won’t do it alone.

Ease into motherhood with a knowledgeable expert at your side to tend to you and your baby’s needs.

She continually checked in with me to make sure she was on the same page as my husband and I, making sure she was giving our baby and myself the care that we were expecting and hoping for, and that she was doing it the same way I would have if it was me, while also offering incredible advice and knowledge!” - Kate B.

“What impressed me most was how calm and smoothly she handled everything. Being a new mom and trusting your kids with people is never easy, but I knew they were in good hands.” - Zoie V.

About Bella

As a wife, mama, and former nanny of two littles, maternal instincts run deep for me. For all of my life I have passionately devoted myself to caretaking with a heavy emphasis on pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Throughout college and directly afterward, I assisted numerous families with childcare for children aged newborn-toddlerhood. After a few wonderful years nannying, I decided to pursue my deepest passion (birth-work) full time. I am now a Birth & Postpartum doula serving families in the twin cities with the support they need to ease into life with a new baby. My love for this work fosters long-lasting connection, continuing even after our formal care concludes.

My purpose & mission:

Pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are such sacred spaces. During all three you are the most vulnerable that you will ever be. My heart for you and your baby is to be a continuous source of companionship & support.

My work is dedicated to client advocacy and the parent-baby bond. Whether it's holding your hand during labor, or taking the night shift postpartum, I am at your side proactively tending to your needs. My sole focus during our time together is to make sure that your entire family unit has been seen, heard, & tended to. It can be so hard to ask for your needs to be met. Having me as your doula means never having to ask.

“Bella was an absolute Godsend, I don’t know what I would have done without her in my challenging postpartum season.

Her attentiveness to my needs and emotions impressed me most. It felt like she knew what I needed before I even did.”
